Meet the Team

We’re a small, tight-knit team made up of family, friends, and folks who genuinely care about the work we do and the people we do it for. Some of us came up through the landfill industry, others through the manufactured wood industry - each with a focus on the needs of our individual customers’ site-specific needs. We don’t just sell products - we help our customers solve tough problems, and we stick with them until the job is done right.

Resources by EWS traces back to Steven Mays, who started EWS (Electric Wood Systems) in the 1980s. His son, Keith, eventually took the reins and sought to expand the breadth of the business. Along the way, he brought in Katie, our accounting manager, and her husband, Scott, whose drive and experience in waste management helped shape our path forward. As the company grew, more family members joined - Katie’s brother, Garrett, heads up maintenance and installations, and Keith’s niece, Taylor, came on board to support the next phase of the company’s growth. We’re a multigenerational team that believes in pitching in, staying curious, and doing right by the people we work with.
